Now I’m thinking of adding a B or Super B in 9mm P but have read a lot about the being designed around the Largo. Do they shoot the 9x19 as well as as the the Largo? I have 2 Star Bs, a nice safe queen and a shooter. Both are as accurate as any 9mm in my collection.

New to Star, picked up a beautiful Model B Super...some... I just purchased a Star Super B, 9M/M P, from the used gun room at the local Cabela's. I've wanted one for many years, and this one is in excellent, almost new condition. I purchased the gun, in it's box, with 3 mags, for $339.00. The gun is an Interarms import. I've been trying to date the piece, but have found conflicting information.

In addition to my pistol being chambered in 9mm Largo, the bottom of the grip just says 'Super', indicating (along with the easy take-down lever) that the frame is an A Super model. We both came to the conclusion that my pistol is a Star A Super with a modified finish.

It has several 9mm Largo magazines, however, I believe it to be a 9mm parabellum rather than a Largo as the magazines will not seat nor will 9mm Lardo rounds cycle through the action. And the slide is inscribed with "9 m/m P." Does anyone know of a good source for 9mm Para magazines for this pistol? Thanks!.

I love Smith & Wesson. Bought this just because it was different, LOVE IT. Holds 10 rounds, about 30 percent less recoil then 9 mm. The grain is every bit as powerful as the grain 9mm. I have a Glock 9mm, Smith & Wesson 9mm and a Bersa 9mm. I’ll rank this Smith & Wesson 30 super carry right up there with all of them.
