Carolyn D. Wright (January 6, – January 12, ) was an American poet. [1]. She was a MacArthur Fellow, a Guggenheim Fellow, and the Poet Laureate of Rhode Island. C. D. Wright was born in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to a chancery judge and a court reporter.
