I love Bernie Casey. He's an impressive size of a man and he has that screen appeal for me. Voice, looks, face, the whole package and in Brothers, he runs the show. The movie was more dramatic than exploitive which is not what you would expect for a prison movie and a "black movie" for the times but that doesn't mean that it's not a good film.
